To The Lighthouse – Virginia Woolf

To quote from Dr Seuss ‘What was I scared of?’ Not least was I alarmed by the prospect of reading the OH’s pristine Folio Society edition of To The Lighthouse, which has been terrorising us from the shelf for a good decade. But the book has survived the experience unscathed and so have I.

I don’t think it is the kind of novel where one has to worry over much about spoilers, since it has no plot as such, but instead one or two key events. So that’s my spoiler warning. Read on, or not…
