2666 – Group Read
I thought that the launch was to be on Monday, and so it is, but that is when discussion officially begins. Discussion? That would imply having begun reading…
So the reading has begun. Several pages in, and nigh on nine hundred to go. But it looks so much more…
A Rat in the Book Pile 
It’s pretty fast reading, and 50 pages of this a week will be much easier, generally, than 75 of Infinite Jest. Have no fear. :)

If discussion starts Monday, I might not end up doing the group-read…. or, I’ll have to play catch-up! Just done a 500+ page book… not in the mood for another chunkster straight after! :(

I thought you’d been uncharacteristically quiet; the chunkster would explain it. I do see what you mean about starting another one straight away, but as Daryl says, fifty pages isn’t too bad, and is do-able for Monday or thereaboouts…
